  • Is there a bathroom on your boat?
No, there is not a bathroom on the boat. We can always make a stop at a public establishment to use the restroom.
  • Do you charge for gas at the end of the trip?
No, unlike boat rental companies, gas is included.
  • Does your boat have a stereo?
Yes, it has a great stereo. Music choice subject to our approval.
  • Where do you pick us up?
    1. Lakeport, 5th Street Boat Ramp 2. Konocti Harbor Resort Dock - 8727 Soda Bay Rd, Kelseyville 3. If you are staying at a lakefront hotel or renting a house on the lake, I may be able to pick you up on your dock. This will depend on location and water depth. Give me a call or text me the location.
  • Can we bring Alcohol and drinks on the boat?
Yes, I prefer if you don’t bring red wine onboard.
  • How many people can you accomodate?
I like to keep it at a maximum of 8 people.
  • What do we bring?
Sunglasses, flip flop type shoes, beach towel, snacks, beverages, your cell phone for pictures, and sun screen. There is a small cooler on the boat for you to use.
  • Will it be hot? Does it get rough on the lake?
Clear Lake gets hot in the summer frequently reaching 90 to 100 in the late afternoon. Afternoons get a breeze which contriubutes to the lake becoming a bit choppy, especially in the narrows. I will do everything I can to limit the impact of any wave action but it can get rough. The hours from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm are usually the calmest and not as hot.
  • What if we want to go out for brunch or lunch?
I am happy to take you to any of the lakefront establishments. Weekends and holidays are usually busy and it may take a while to get your food. Keep this in mind when booking a time frame. I find we can usually make it in 2 hours. 1. Konocti Resort and Spa– For those of you who came during its heyday, this place may bring back some memories. Full Bar and open for food Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Brunch. 2. Richmond Park Bar and Grill – Full Bar with music and great atmosphere. 3. On the Waterfront or Park Place – Short Walk from 5th street dock in Lakeport. 4. The Boathouse Bar & Stowaway Grill – Not many spots to dock so this one is not always an option. Full bar with live music on some weekends.
  • Do you provide life jackets?
Yes, please keep in mind all children under 13 must wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times when on a moving vessel. Please put the age and size of the child in the notes field. I will bring several life jackets to ensure a proper fit. Adults are not required to wear a life jacket. One will be provided to you to wear or place under your seat at your discression.
